I started my ballet training as a teenager, which is pretty late in the ballet world, so I remember what it's like to walk into a class overwhelmed, confused, and self conscious.
Ballet is a high-skill art but it can and should be enjoyed by all who feel the music moving within them.
Let's create a safe space to de-mystify and have fun with it…
We will begin the afternoon with the basics of how to stand and, by the end of the workshop, we will have a choreographed group dance routine.
I performed for many years as a lead soloist with Monica Loughman Ballet before training as a Pilates Instructor.

**while this workshop is designed with absolute beginners in mind, it is not suitable for those with injuries
**wear something you’re comfortable in and can move in. No flared/long bottoms (they tangle round ankles!)
Wear ballet pumps or grippy socks (non-grip socks are slippy and dangerous when spinning/jumping)
